The colleges can assist you prepare for a full range of French language exams.

     
                 

There are four main options;

the DELF/DALF exams
the CCIP & the TEF.

The most popular exams being the
DELF and TEF exam options. 
 

                   
   

You will need to have a good level of French or be prepared to commit several months to your studies in order to reach the necessary standard to sit any of these exams, for more information, just ask.

French DELF & DALF Exams 

The DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes de Langue Française) and the DALF (Diplôme Avancé de Langue Française) are the official French government examinations for French as a Foreign Language.  The DALF is accepted by French universities as evidence of sufficient knowledge of French to undertake university studies in France.

The DELF/DALF exams consist of five diplomas, each one corresponding to around 100 hours of study.  They are designed to correspond with the 6 levels of the Common European Framework of References for languages > Levels of ability according to CEF.
