Nice is a very comfortable place to learn French in France.  I loved the whole experience and it totally met my requirements.  I knew that I needed to work on my French before the exams, and felt a week in France was essential to polish my French language skills. 

 The French A level course in Nice worked so well for me.  The lessons were well presented and I felt I could talk to my teacher if I was confused at any point.  Studying with really good native French speakers, who really knew their stuff was so helpful to me.  Linguistically my speaking improved so much and I now feel a lot more confident in speaking French and my understanding of French.  We were able to cover a lot of grammar and topic related work.  The school was so nice and the staff were to my surprise really approachable.  The school had a perfect situation in Nice, close to everything and easy to find. It was so positive for me to be able to speak French at every given opportunity, though I did feel homesick for the first couple of day, even though it was only a week!

I got on well with the other students though and I liked going to the shopping centres and beach with them, but didn’t really go out at night as I preferred to stay in with my hostess and chat or watch TV.

CESA were really helpful when I was enquiring about the course, emails were promptly replied.

I would certainly recommend this course to others – the chance to put everything into practise was incredibly helpful and made me feel so much more in control of my French prior to the actual exams.
