Your First Day @ College

Whilst each college has it’s own method of organising the first day of a language course, we can offer a few general guidelines to give you an idea of what you’re walking into.  Full and specific information is always provided, once you’ve enrolled.  However if in any doubt, please ask.

You will need to sit an oral and written language  placement test (it’s not as scary as it sounds) on the first day (generally Monday) so that you are placed in the correct group for your language level.  Occasionally colleges ask students to complete a language test in advance of arrival.  If this is the case, we’ll let you know, once you’ve enrolled.

Language classes are then held from Monday to Friday each week (generally speaking lessons will start on Tuesday on the first week, except for Beginners who have lessons on the Monday).  Once you have successfully completed your course you will receive a college certificate attesting to your level of proficiency in the language, this will also show the duration and style of language course you attended.
