I felt the standard of teaching was very high and the general vibe of the campus was excellent. The lessons were a good mix of grammar and practice. The teachers encouraged speaking and discussion as much as possible. The only problem I found was that the difference between the best and worst students in the class was a little too big.

The German language school in Berlin was very welcoming and making friends was easy. The staff were professional and approachable. The location of the school was perfect, right in the centre of the action. The best part was being around people who really wanted to learn the language and improve their skills. The worst part was the coffee!

While most students didn’t take advantage of everything offered by the school, the options were endless. Teachers were happy to make additional homework (letters etc.), allowing for the keener student to get even more from classes. The organised trips were good value and interesting.

Berlin Rocks!
