“In a nutshell the Over 50 French course in Nice was fantastic.  Expectations were met in every way.  The lessons were excellent.  I was placed in a lower level as I was having problems the first day, but it was also recognized right away and the class I was placed in was excellent.  The teachers were great and the two teachers (Manuella) and (Sandrine) who taught the Over 50’s course were so much fun with such an understanding of people.  Their sense of humour was infectious!The school was centrally located and only a short walk from the apt I rented (Apt was not organized through the school).  Nice was gorgeous as well as the surrounding area.

The others taking the course were so much fun – ( definitely made some new friends.  It was so sad to say goodbye after the 2 weeks but we are in contact through e-mail.  There was nothing I could improve upon – the excursions and cultural programmes were unforgettable.  We did a lot of walking which was great but I wouldn’t suggest this course for people who have reduced mobility in any way.

I would definitely go again – it was the experience of a lifetime. Beaulieu sur Mer, Eze and attending the symphony at the Opera House were my favourite destinations.  It would have been nice to see Monaco too – maybe it could be added to the itinerary for the future.

After one week and one day, I could suddenly understand more – it was like a miracle!

I would definitely do it again and would highly recommend it to others.  I would give the course “Excellent” on all accounts.
