Three weeks French Course in Aix

3 weeks French course in Aix
Linguistically I had taken other language courses abroad with CESA from beginner’s level so I had an idea of what to expect, I knew roughly the level of French I could expect to reach after 3 weeks which was simple conversational French.
For me all my expectations were met and I was really happy with the progress I had been helped to make at the school. I enjoyed the way the lessons were structured and the contents, especially the lessons which focused on conversation, conversation, conversation, rather than sheet work, and this was a view shared by all. When you start as a beginner its almost impossible not to make any progress. I thought everyone who worked at the school were fantastic, especially Marie Francis who was a fantastic teacher who really pushed me. Its situation in Aix-en-Provence was perfect.
The best part was Marie Francis’ classes because her focus on conversation work really pushed me and the others in my class. I felt that I was safe in the town, even walking home at night / early in the morning was fine. I met lots of really nice people local to Aix , not just the other students and it is easy to meet people and have a great social life, although this definitely calmed down at the end of August by which time a lot of the other students had left.
The assistance offered by CESA staff was absolutely fantastic, especially Katherine who worked very hard to help me organise my trip and really, really helped me arrange it exactly the way I wanted and was very understanding of my financial restrictions – Thank you Katherine. The friends I made at the French language school and in Aix, and the progress I made in French I am very, very happy with.
