One week of Italian lessons in Sorrento

I wanted to spend a well structured week studying Italian and hoped for good progress in the language, from a limited starting point.  I thoroughly enjoyed my short trip to Sorrento (only wish it could have been longer).  The lessons were fast paced, with no wasted time and the staff had a truly professional approach.

The Italian language classes were great, interactive, fast-paced and I made good progress.  The teachers could have had improved visual aids in order to aid demonstrations of vocab and grammatical points, but overall, fabulous (as a School Inspector you notice these things).  The school was conveniently situated, comfortable, offered great Italian language courses and the staff were friendly. The only bad part of the trip for me was that it finished!  Such a shame I could only commit to a one week language course.

There were a good mix of students.  I only attended one of the college arranged social activities, an excursion but it was well-attended and well organised.  I felt the balance of free time, with structured lessons was perfect for me.

Sorrento is gorgeous, beautiful, safe and interesting.

CESA offered me good assistance throughout, especially with my change of requirements.  Very efficient. 

I would love to go back to Sorrento again and definitely plan on doing another language course in the future.  Whether to chose Florence, Venice or Siena for the next trip, rather than Sorrento, I have yet to resolve!
