Ian had undertaken quite a lot of self-study to develop his Portuguese skills and wanted to consolidate and practice the language in a concentrated week of hard work.  CESA checked in to see how the programme was going after a couple of days…

Thank you yes, it’s all great. My host is lovely, the room fine and all very local to the school. The first day at school was tough, but they do warn us it will be tough. Private lesson in the afternoon was excellent. 23 degrees in April. Sun shining. Vinho verdi. Pasteis de Natas. Amazing city to explore. Not sure what else I could wish for!
