Study French in Tours

I found CESA’s French course in Tours on the internet and I just felt this was the right French language school for me.  Once I’d enrolled CESA came back to me promptly with course confirmation and briefing information on Tours, my hosts and the school and were always quick to answer my questions by phone or email.  The first Monday was taken up with an introduction and a detailed language assessment to ensure we were all placed correctly.  I felt my placement in a class exactly reflected my level and I was comfortable in the group for all of my 3 week course. 
The French school is located in a beautiful building, which doesn’t really feel like a school at all.  I felt that the students were always the centre of attention, throughout the working day and we were constantly encouraged to improve and practise our French skills.  The school has a good range of pedagogic materials, books etc which work for class and personal study for those who wish it. The class moved at a good pace, but I never felt unable to cope.  Had I done so, I wouldn’t have had any hesitation in talking to the teachers.  The small classes (no more than 6 in the group for 3 weeks) worked in the school’s favour.  These small classes were a real attraction for me, as I wanted to know I’d get good teacher attention, considering the time and money I was investing.
I was pleased with my progress in French and hope to return to Tours to take another course in the future.
