3 weeks French course in Paris
Standard Course
Without a doubt the best part of the course was my teacher, Nolwenn. She was excellent – encouraging students to “give it a go” without worrying whether it is perfect or not. She was able to instill a level of confidence in students to actually get us to speak the language.
I truly can’t think of anything negative to say about the course.
It was absolutely superb!
I thought CESA’s staff were extremely helpful. Very polite and provided all the information I requested very quickly. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
I only had 3 weeks but wanted to make the best progress possible with my French speaking skills during the course. I was hoping for a professional French language school in Paris and friendly staff and that was exactly what I got.
My hopes were exceeded, in all areas. The assessment was absolutely spot on in placing students in the correct level group on the first Monday, and the very experienced staff quickly assessed all of us new students and monitored our progress throughout the course. The flexibility of the teaching structures enabled students to be moved to an alternative class if the teacher determined that it would be more appropriate for their level.
I found the French language lessons to be well-structured, interesting and very relevant. Everyday situations are used to encourage and develop the spoken language and help us learn French overall. The teachers are very encouraging and ensured an enormous amount of interaction. I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson format and the teacher that I had was absolutely superb.
My only regret is that I didn’t book more lessons, there are a range of additional afternoon French classes one can take, but I decided to stick to the Standard Course, on reflection I wish I’d pushed myself to do more.
The school’s location was excellent. Very central and convenient. I felt perfectly comfortable at the French school and found all members of staff to be very helpful and approachable.
The other students were interesting and friendly. It was enjoyable to meet so many people from so many different countries and all different backgrounds. It made for a very colourful 3 weeks. I did not take part in any of the social activities on offer, frankly there was too much to see and do in Paris as it was.
Paris, like any capital city is not cheap but I was fully aware of that when I chose to attend a course there. I felt perfectly safe in Paris, but as I live in London I an used to city life. My husband visited for the two middle weekends and so I had very busy weekends.
I chose to stay in a nearby Hotel, which worked well.
I would certainly go again, and I would recommend it to others.
My teacher made the greatest impression on me. I cannot over-emphasis how good she was.
Thank you again.
