Gino: Intensive Russian Course

Two weeks course.  

I was a touch unsure what to expect, yet the pre-arrival information I received gave an impression of a well organised school.  Linguistically the school was excellent. The teaching was robust and the improvements I made in merely two weeks were marked. The school was very well organised. I have no complaints at all, the teaching was fantastic and the group was small (3 students), the teacher pushed us all to improve at our own pace.

The Russian language school in St Petersburg was very well placed and very safe. The staff were always helpful and reliable. The best part of the course was the rapidity of my learning in such a short space of time.

The other students I met helped make my time in Russia even more enjoyable. The organised trips were excellent for tourists and our orientation around about the city allowed us to visit many places independently.  I felt very safe in St Petersburg (something I was very concerned about before going) and I found it an excellent place for tourists. There was too much to do, and I wish I had more time to continue my visits. There is so much space to walk in the city and take in the beautiful sights.

The family were very friendly and the house was very comfortable. The only hurdle was the food, however this was a cultural issue and not specific to the family.

CESA Languages Abroad were very helpful and so was all the information given to me.

I would love to return, and I wish I had stayed for longer. I shall certainly consider returning to the school in the future. It was a beautiful city, excellent language teaching and the chance to meet great people made it for me!”

CESA Update: Gino had such a fantastic time on his 2-week language course in St Petersburg that he has since enrolled on a further 2-week language course in Moscow.
