Standard Course, Nerja

The language school itself in Nerja was super: excellent teachers and administration, light and airy classrooms, and a lovely garden at the back for socialising in the break. I had three different (male) teachers, all very different in their way. One of the teachers, Francisco, gave excellent illustrated talks on Andalusia and Pablo Picasso, as well as leading an outing to Frigiliana, an interesting small town nearby. I was assigned to the B2.1.1 course which was right for me with the right balance of new material and familiar ground.
I stayed in the Residence a few minutes’ walk away, which was good on the whole. It was spotless, with friendly and capable staff. The only downside was the water supply. As there were water outages in other parts of Nerja, I gather this is a municipality problem (confirmed by one of the teachers).
