Learn Spanish in Cuenca
Cuenca is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Ecuador. Its surrounding region are rich in nature, history and offers a colonial atmosphere that has survived thanks to years of almost complete isolation.
The city is full of fascinating contrasts: home to two universities, museums and art galleries stand alongside traditional indigenous markets rarely visited by foreigners.
CESA Plus Points:

- Centrally located in Cuenca, with good facilities and excellent teachers
- Friendliness of the local Ecuadorian people
- Additional programmes are a real draw, particularly the Arts or Volunteering options
I thought the lessons were great. The teachers interacted really well with us Spanish language students, everyone turned up on time for class and the lessons were very well structured.
I felt comfortable in the school as well – both the Spanish school staff and the Spanish teachers were approachable and ready to answer any questions that arise, from suggesting something to do, through to a tricky grammar question that I hadn’t quite mastered.
