Berlin: Reichstag

An absolutely brilliant course. Not only did my German Gap Year help improve the quality of my German but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
I was lucky enough to be placed in a group where we all enjoyed the lessons together. We joked, had fun, even went out for the occasional teacher/student coffee, but we learnt in abundance.
I thought CESA were very helpful with the organisation of my stay. Would I go again? Absolutely.

Munich: Central city

My goal was a mixture of, not wanting all the work I had done at A-level to go to waste, and also to improve my German speaking ability.
I’ve attended previous language courses so it was no surprise to me when the lessons were entirely ‘auf Deutsch’! It definitely speeds up the learning process and makes you focus more. It’s a little tricky at first but after a couple days it’s completely normal.
Without being too cliché, my only real complaint was that I had to leave.

Heidelberg: View of city from river

The classes are friendly and it is easy to find the right class that is suited to your language level. The school also offers; weekly activities, trips to different cities, school parties and lunches, extra free grammar classes and culture talks. This gave me the opportunity to meet new students and make friends.
Overall I had a brilliant experience and my language skills improved hugely.
Heidelberg is so beautiful, I would recommend going there to anyone!
