  • 2 weeks German language course duration
  • Open to 50 yrs + age group, four times a year
  • 20 German Group lessons (as Standard Course)
  • plus 2 informal evening sessions per week
  • Max. 4 people per group class

Lessons: Conversation, grammar etc. according to the needs and wishes of the group
Afternoon programme: Tour of Kitzbühel, mountain hiking, walk to the lake, museums, visits to coffee houses, weather permitting.

A short German language course aimed at adults, over 50 years of age, who wish to study with their peers in an informal environment and enjoy the social programme offered by the German language school in Kitzbühel (includes a full day trip, guided tours and half day trips).  The Over 50 group tends to be quite adventurous and love to get involved in all that is offered, enjoying trips to local castles (eg Kufstein) and local towns (eg Rattenburg) and of course the fantastic hiking opportunities.

Activities

Afternoon programme: Tour of Kitzbühel, mountain hiking, walk to the lake, museums, visits to coffee houses, weather permitting.
Evening programme: An enjoyable social evening in a bar or cafe.

Practical Information

There are generally just a few students attending on each programme date.  As a rule students are elementary to intermediate levels.  Classes are opened for students at the relevant language level, no matter how few students are present.

First Day

You will be expected to arrive at the Centre by 09.00 hrs on your first day (Monday).

Accommodation

2* Pension accommodation is generally recommended.  There are also a couple of lovely 3* Pensions, as recommended by past students, but early reservations are recommended.

Travel & Transfer

Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday AM

We recommend that you fly direct to Munich airport, and then get the very good train service from the airport to Kitzbühel. Students are welcome to arrange a private transfer service from either Munich or Salzburg airports. Details are provided once you have booked a programme.
