Lyon spans the Rhone and Saône rivers, and has a rich cultural past, with Roman ruins and the Vieux Cite is a UNESCO heritage centre. It is France’s largest city after Paris, famed for its gastronomy and has a temperate climate; cold winters and pleasantly warm/hot summers.
