Learn French in Tours: Language Courses
Choose from a Mini Group French Course with 20 group lessons, Monday to Friday each week, or the Combined Group French Course, which builds on the 20 weekly lessons with an additional three private lessons per week, for extra focus and tailored study. The French courses run throughout the year, with start dates for all levels. Additionally, the school offers a longer term, Languages for Life course for more in-depth study, and Private Tuition classes, perfect for students, whatever their current French language level!
Beginners:
A0 and A1 levels are welcome any week with school agreement, but are likely to follow reduced lessons (10 private lessons for one student per level, or 15 duo lessons for two students per level), rather than the 20 group lessons (unless there are 3 or more students that week).
Higher levels:
A2+ group classes will also have reduced lessons if there are less than three students per class, when necessary, during the year, but this only occurs occasionally.

A short-term French language course aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with an immersion course in France. The small group classes ensure plenty of teacher attention for every student.
Core French classes/ Monday to Friday
Your French teacher focuses on communication skills. We want you to learn how to speak French, and to grow your self-confidence in expressing your thoughts and communicating your ideas. French classes are designed to around a core textbook, with the addition of personal documents, fun activities, and a wide variety of exercises. The aim is to deepen certain points and to sustain your interest, so you stay simulated and make great progress!
Workshop afternoons the school arranges various workshops, with different French teachers.
The purpose of weekly workshop is to strengthen your oral production and comprehension, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. Additionally, you can choose one, longer, multi-leveled workshop. Students then discover the city by tramway, the street art of Tours, or cheeses of France. For these workshops, a small fee may be required for purchase of a tramway ticket, wines, cheeses, etc…
