Learn German in Kitzbühel: Location
Kitzbühel is a lively location to learn German in, with plenty of action for the energetically minded language student, throughout the year. It appeals to CESA’s German language students who wish to combine their German language studies with skiing, or hiking and enjoying the wonderful mountain scenery. German language students can follow any length of language programme from one week plus, which makes it a perfect short get away programme for those with work ties.
The town is an hour’s drive from Salzburg and Innsbruck and about an hour and a half’s drive from Munich. It is a famous sport and holiday resort in the Tyrol and is one of the best-known and most popular winter holiday destinations in the Alps.
Kitzbühel is somewhere to relax and enjoy yourself. The air is clean and fresh. The people are hospitable and charming. The skiing and snow boarding opportunities are good for the whole season (with glacier skiing when the snow doesn’t want to play)! You can eat well in town (and up in the mountains) and in the main winter season (late Nov/early May) the apres ski night-life is fabulous.
