I had a great time, the language school in Riga is really friendly and welcoming. It’s located in the centre of town and is easy to find. The lessons are ‘full on’ but that’s what I was hoping for.
The teacher was punctual, always well prepared, and was able to accommodate the students with their varying abilities. She was very affable and lessons were fun.
I would be happy to recommend this school to anyone interested in learning Russian.

About the School
The Russian language school, established in Russia in the early 1990s, has offered programmes in Riga, Latvia since 2022. The School Campus is located in the city centre, in a recently renovated landmark Art Nouveau building less than 10 minutes walking distance to Vecrīga (Old Medieval Town). Vermane Public Gardens are just around the corner as are a number of coffee shops and bars, and two of the best lunch places in Riga are in the same block.
Facilities include 10 classrooms (total capacity 100 students), a small lounge are, free Wi-fi.
With over 35 years of teaching experience, and generally between 30/70 students studying each month the Russian teaching staff offer a fabulous language learning environment for ALL linguistic needs from beginner through to the advanced learner.
