The Benalmadena language school has offered Teenage Spanish courses for many years and provides programmes over the Easter and Summer holidays.
The combination of the Spanish language lessons with a busy activity programme has real appeal! Every morning, from Monday to Friday, students study Spanish in the classroom and then each afternoon are kept busy by the dedicated Spanish group leaders, who organise a range of sporting, social and cultural activities either on site or in the local area. The weekends are dedicated to activities or free time. Students always stay with local Spanish hosts.
So if you like to be busy, this is the perfect language course!

If you are looking for a one to four week immersion Spanish course, living with Spanish hosts by the coast, the Teenage Course in Benalmadena is perfect. The Spanish course appeals to those students looking to revise general language skills, with emphasis placed on practising spoken Spanish and developing self-expression and self-confidence.
In total there are 30 language lessons over 2 weeks (unless a day is lost to a public holiday, in which case a group excursion is arranged instead). This is equal to a term of contact lessons at most UK schools and you are immersed in Spain, speaking Spanish with native Spanish speaking teachers and the group leaders (who help organise the social activities each week). Morning studies revolve around formal classroom study based on modern teaching methods combined with project work and various social activities to introduce the students to Spanish culture and lifestyle.
The college is aware that the students are on holiday so whilst students are immersed in daily Spanish life, speaking Spanish with native Spanish speaking teachers, there are also college monitors in Benalmadena who help organise the social activities each week and share their time with the international students.
If you want to learn Spanish with other teenagers in a beautiful, sunny and charming Andalucian town, Benalmadena is ideal. Originally a fishing village, it is still a sea of whitewashed little houses with good shops, a wonderful marina and beaches just a short walk away. Benalmadena is just a short trip from Malaga airport. The school is within easy walk of the beach and greatly appeals to our younger language students.
A range of activities are offered (all accompanied/supervised by the monitors) as an inclusive part of this Spanish programme during the Easter and Summer course dates. Full details of each weekly programme is provided on the first Monday, with timetable, meeting points etc
1/ Four afternoons of cultural, leisure activities or sports (volleyball or football at the beach, or swimming at the pool) per week, including one afternoon (entrance and transport included) on:
a/ a Mediterranean mini-cruise boat trip
b/ a cable car trip on the Calamorro mountain
c/ AquaMijas Waterpark or

With local hosts, in and around Benalmadena on a full-board basis. Students are housed in shared rooms (2 or 3 students per room / same gender, different nationality) You are welcome to book a room with a friend/s if you wish to do so.
Breakfasts and evening meals are provided by the hostess at home. Lunches are taken with the hosts at the weekend, at the college (hot buffet lunch) in the week or as picnics arranged by your hosts, if on a weekend excursion.
The hosts are generally within a short walk from the language school, but late enrolments may mean students can be up to 30 minutes commute, including a short bus (or rarely a train) journey each day.
