Course Description

In total there are 30 language lessons over 2 weeks (unless a day is lost to a public holiday, in which case a group excursion is arranged instead).

This is equal to a term of contact lessons at most UK schools and you are immersed in Spain, speaking Spanish with native Spanish speaking teachers and the group leaders (who help organise the social activities each week).

Morning studies revolve around formal classroom study based on modern teaching methods combined with project work and various social activities to introduce the students to Spanish culture and lifestyle.

If you want to learn Spanish with other teenagers in a beautiful, sunny and charming Andalucian town, Benalmadena is ideal. Originally a fishing village, it is still a sea of whitewashed little houses with good shops, a wonderful marina and beaches just a short walk away. It is within easy reach by air from Malaga and greatly appeals to our younger language students. Spanish lessons are held in a modern state school, within easy reach of the beach.

The college has offered Teenage Spanish language courses for many years now and provides programmes over the Easter and Summer holidays. Lessons are held at the main school site (also used for adult classes). Students always stay with local Spanish hosts. The combination of the Spanish language lessons with a busy activity programme has real appeal! Every morning, from Monday to Friday, students study Spanish in the classroom and then each afternoon are kept busy by the dedicated Spanish group leaders, who organise a range of sporting, social and cultural activities either on site or in the local area. The weekends are dedicated to activities or free time. So if you like to be busy, this is the perfect language course!
