German for Teenagers Munich 14/17 yrs. Improve your German language skills in Munich, Germany, with other teenage language students this summer. Practice your German skills on an immersion course in Munich, designed specifically for teenagers.

This programme is perfect for high school students wishing to improve their German who would prefer to live in a self-contained residential campus environment. The course includes adult supervision and lots of inclusive activities.

Students enjoy living in Bavaria just 10 km south of Munich city centre, near the river Isar.

There are limited German course places available (around 70 students per week) and ALWAYS becoming fully booked ~ so early reservations are advised.

German Tuition

• 09.00 hrs to 12.15 hrs (2 x 90 mins sessions)
• Afternoon & evening activities scheduled each day
• Upto 70 students per week
• Level test on Sunday early evening
• 3 levels: elementary, intermediate, advanced

In total there are 40 (or 50) lessons over 2 weeks (unless a day is lost to a public holiday).  This is equal to a term of contact lessons at your school in the UK.  Small classes, native speakers, interesting material and a pleasant learning atmosphere all contribute to the learning process.  The emphasis is on the active use of language in real situations. You learn German and after class you get to explore Munich with other teenagers from all over the world.

The course is academically demanding course and aims to stimulate student interest and keep the lessons dynamic.

Optional social activities provide contrast and bring an additional element of fun to the overall programme. The German language college staff are aware that the students are on holiday and will do all they can to help students enjoy their German experience, both in and outside the classroom.

Accommodation

Students live on site in 4 to 5-bedded rooms with shower and WCs off the corridor and are provided with wifi, laundry service, full board in the castle cafeteria.

You will be living and learning German in the castle – Burg Schwaneck. The castle was built in 1843 and has been carefully restored to modern standards to serve as an educational institution. The castle is within easy reach of the centre of Munich, just 10 km south of the city centre (15-minute train ride to city centre), in a wealthy residential district, surrounded by a huge park, right next to River Isar.

Facilities: The castle houses spacious classrooms with a historical touch; bedrooms, the knights´ hall, a lounge, bowling, billiards, a playground in the park, table tennis and a cafeteria.
