Lessons are always held, Monday to Friday, in the mornings, for 20 lessons (15 hours) per week, studying French in a multi-national class appropriate for your level. If numbers allow, then classes will only be for 50+ students (but this cannot be confirmed in advance). This is a short term French language course specifically aimed at older language students who wish to build on their current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with an immersion course in France. In the afternoons and weekends students enjoy a dedicated 50+ social programme.

Public Holidays: Please note the school will only actually close on two dates each year: Easter Monday and 1st May. Group and/or private lessons lost on these two days are made up in that week. All other public holidays are treated as normal working days.
The cultural excursions include a reasonable amount of walking. If this an issue, please discuss with CESA.

Arrival at school for everyone: 08.00 hrs
Students will be asked to take a written test, prior to arrival.
Classes will begin on Monday morning in the first week.
Followed by an induction meeting in the afternoon.
– Students will be placed in mixed age classes unless there are sufficient Over 50 students to offer a closed group
– Excursions take place by coach, bus or train and the group is accompanied by a school guide
– For the visits of towns and villages they choose short walking distances with several breaks
– All activities are guided and commented in French language
The majority of students arrive by train in Rouen.
