Learn French in Biarritz: Language Courses

Timetable: Generally 09.00 to 12.15 hrs (afternoon timetable may also be used during the busiest months)
Class times assigned according to language level not student preference

A French Language course aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with an immersion course in France. Long term Standard Courses appeal to Gap Year students and those looking for a Career break. The school does not require a minimum number of students to open a class. If you are the only person at your language level, the school will reduce the number of lessons accordingly (so 20 group lessons, become 10 private lessons per week).

Teenage students also attend the school, but we recommend teenagers book the Biarritz Teenager course.

Timetable: Generally 09.00 to 12.15 hrs (Monday to Friday) + 13.30 and 15.00 hrs (Tuesday to Thursday)

Offered April to September each year (and possible outside these dates on request)
20 French  group lessons per week (09.00 to 12.15 hrs + 10 lessons dedicated to surfing over a week
1.30 hrs surfing session every afternoon/ Monday to Friday
Exact timetable for surfing sessions will depend on the tides.
You will be given your next day’s meeting time at the end of each surfing session (also displayed at the school)

The beaches used appeal to improvers, but also to those at a beginner level. The Surf school provides wet suits/shorts and boards. NB: The French & Surf Course is a very popular summer programme, please book well in advance for July/August period.
