The French language school in Bordeaux offers intensive courses, available for all levels, which focus on the 4 key skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Students can follow their own pace of learning to suit individual objectives and sign up for however many weeks they wish for. The course structure allows students to learn freely, according to each student’s requirements and availability! Students are taught in groups of 12 students maximum. Students can extend the intensity of the course experience by supplementing the core classes with additional linguistic and cultural work shops.

Short term French language courses aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to learn French in Bordeaux from beginner level, with additional small group work to aid linguistic development.
Intensive course objectives include: broadening acquired skills through creative and communicative activities, working with real documents, progressing by carrying out projects
General French – course objectives include the practice of spoken French in Bordeaux in communicative situations and a cultural approach to the language, development of linguistic proficiency (written and oral expression / written and oral comprehension / interpersonal communication) and communicative methods combining individual development and group dynamics (group work, role plays, etc.)
Working in single-level groups, 8 to 12 students in size, ensures easy participation and a true group dynamic as well as individual attention from the teacher.

Pauillac region is located north of Bordeaux along the Gironde estuary. Capital city of the Médoc region, it has 18 classified “grands crus” since 1855, among those, 3 are Premium Classified Grands Crus: Châteaux Lafite-Rothschild, Latour and Mouton-Rothschild.

Excursion to Saint-Emilion region
Visit to Busquet Chateau
A qualified oenologist will give you a private tour of the family owned castle of Busquet. A great opportunity to go behind the scenes, learn the story of the Robin family and discover the every day life of a vineyard of the Bordeaux region.
At the end of this guided visit you will walk around Saint-Emilion where you will be able to admire the bell tower at the top of this UNESCO World Heritage medieval village.

Excursion to Pessac-Leognan region

The vineyards of Pessac Léognan are located to the south of Bordeaux.
Haut Brion Castle is the only Premium Classified Grand Cru of 1855 that is not made in the Médoc region. It is now the leader of the 68 Chateaux and domains.
