I found the lessons very beneficial. They were always prepared, and a variety of teaching methods were used, which greatly helped to reinforce what we had learnt. The teachers were also very patient, and explained things clearly. They also encouraged everyone to speak.
I found that the German language school in Cologne had a welcoming atmosphere and the teachers were very helpful and friendly. The school is also well located, as it is fairly accessible, but not too near the centre so it is fairly quiet.

There are many different types of restaurants and shops in all price ranges near the centre.
The centre has very well equipped, friendly classrooms and a large media library with numerous computers and educational programs, a library, a video library and a comprehensive amount of study material. Students can also use the self-study centre to aid them in their learning.
The language school in Cologne is also a recognised German language testing centre, and can prepare students for recognized certificate exams such as the TestDaF, Zertifikat Deutsch, PWD, and Test WiDaF. In addition to the German academic programme across all language levels, offered by the language school, the school also provides a varied programme of cultural excursions and leisure activities, supported by school staff. The German staff and teachers are always on hand should you have any questions once on your language course. The German language school requires all their German teachers to have university degrees and extensive experience teaching the language.
