Cologne Cathedral is in the heart of the city. It stands on a flat-topped hill; excavations on the site have uncovered remains of a roman heathen temple and early traces of a Christian church. This is definitely a sight you must see whilst in Cologne.
There are several museums in Cologne to look around, the most spectacular museum is the Museum Ludwig, between the cathedral and the Rhine. This museum exhibits 20th century art; here you will find art by the classic moderns, expressionists as well as works of Picasso.
For those of you that like a lively night out, what not try some of the following nightclubs;
“Ring Bar” a popular cocktail bar, “Goldfinger”, “Café Hallmackenreuther” or “Blue Note”; known for its young DJ culture. You’re sure to dance and have fun long into the early hours of the morning!
