Learn Spanish in Lima: Social Life
All language students are encouraged to make the most of their time in Lima, Peru by participating in the guided excursions and activities offered by the Spanish language school. Lima, is a city of history and culture. It offers endless beaches, hills and mountains, nightlife, students have the opportunity to explore all Peru from here.
The school arrange activities three times a week (on week days) / duration 1 to 3 hrs
and one activity each weekend / duration 1 or 2-day trips

Peruvian cooking class: Very popular choice!
They learn how to cook famous Peruvian dishes like Causa Rellena, Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, Ají de Gallina and that most typical of all traditional drinks in Peru – Pisco Sour.
Walking tour
The best way to get to know the city is on foot. Join a school guide and other language students on a walk around the main attractions of Lima’s historical centre. Visit “El Palacio de Gobierno”, the cathedral of Lima. Explore the beautiful colonial architecture of Barranco, a bohemian district, famed for its colourful streets and many murals by urban artists, and finally watch the sun go down, over the cliffs at Miraflores and enjoy some fantastic panoramic Pacific Ocean views.
Islas Palomino: Hugely popular chance to swim with South American sea lions
Visit the province of Callao, 30 minutes from Lima at the weekend. Enjoy a yacht tour through Las Islas Palomino (Palomino Islands) and discover the marvels of ocean life; including sea birds galore and South American sea lions, You even get the opportunity to swim with the sea lions in their natural habitat.
Huacachina: Sand-boarding
The oasis of the Huacachina desert is located 5 hours south of Lima, perfect for a Dune Buggy and Sand-boarding adventure. This tour takes you deep into the desert, so you can exerience the grandeur and beauty of these ancient sand dunes.
