Loved St Petersburg, a great place to study and live in. I thought food etc was very cheap, most expensive stuff was clothes and western type products. I spoke with local people outside class, haggled successfully at markets, spoke with new people when out socially etc, and obviously with my host family.
A great 10 weeks and a lot of Russian learnt. Thanks CESA!

The Russian language school, established in 1992, is located in the historical city centre, near the Russian Museum, the Mikahilovsky Zamok (built by Pavel I, son of Catherine the Great), the circus and near two very nice parks. The area offers some of the finest examples of St. Petersburg architecture and is close to the Fontanka and Neva rivers. The famous Nevsky Prospect is just a short walk away, and the closest metro station to the Russian school is a five minute walk away. A wide range of cafés, bars, restaurants and shops are available just across the street.
The language school is housed in a historical, yet newly renovated building. The latest technologies were installed, including LED lighting throughout, efficient sound insulation, state of the art ventilation in all rooms, and a super fast WiFi network. All 17 classrooms come with a modern design and have access to natural light.
The staff are always on hand should students have any questions once on the Russian courses. The Russian Language School requires that all their teachers have university degrees either in Linguistics or Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language and extensive experience teaching Russian as a Foreign Language.
