Language students can follow a one-week French A’ level revision course, in this amazing city. The course is appropriate for teenagers who are independent and mature enough not to require constant direction from group leaders. Students can live with French hosts (or can arrange their own accommodation in Paris). It’s perfect for A’ level students looking to prepare prior to their end of school exams.

George returned on Saturday and had an amazing time in Paris. He said he thought that the school was excellent, the lessons were perfect for his ability and really pushed him.

He liked the fact that the classes were small (8) and were a mix of A level students and other nationalities living in Paris. He rarely spoke English in the 8 days he was in Paris and was very reluctant to return!
Veronique, his host was amazing. Every night they shared a home cooked meal together and chatted. She was adept at giving him the space he needed but he had more than enough food to eat and felt very well looked after.
I was worried about the trip before he left but would rate it 5 stars. His confidence has increased dramatically and felt very independent travelling and living in Paris on his own.  If anyone was to have doubts about their 17-year-old son or daughter taking part in this, I would say let them go… it’s such a fabulous experience.
Thank you for arranging it so well

– Angela and George

A short-term French language course aimed at A’ level students (and European students studying for A’ level exam equivalents) who need to build on current skills during an immersion course in France over the holidays.  The main objective of the programme is to improve linguistic abilities generally whilst also concentrating on aspects of the language essential to the A’ level (or European equivalent) exam to make the best use of students’ knowledge. A great deal of emphasis is placed on oral participation through personal presentations.

These courses are academically demanding and aimed at older teenagers.  The French language college staff are aware that the students want to make the most of their time in Paris and will do all they can to assist students to ensure they enjoy their French experience, both in and outside the classroom.
