Easter Spanish Course: Malaga 15/19 yrs

If you’re looking for an academically demanding suitable for older teenagers, this is the course option for you. The Spanish Teenage courses offered in Malaga are ideal for teenage students looking to revise their Spanish skills in the Spring holidays, for personal interest or academic need.
The Spanish Easter Camp attracts smaller numbers than the Summer programme (around 10/20 teenagers each week), and students may well be integrated into adult classes (not studying with teenagers alone).

Course Content

In total there are 30 Spanish lessons over 2 weeks on this Spanish course. This is equal to nearly a term of contact lessons at your school at home. The course is a classic combination of language course with a programme of cultural activities and is lots of fun!
The Spanish lessons combine a strong focus on communication skills with structured grammar tuition, so you can expand your creative expression and proficiency, whilst developing solid academic foundations appropriate to your current language level. The school has developed a wide range of course materials to support their day to day teaching programme.
Teachers in Malaga are divided into teams, so you experience different accents and personalities, but all work according to the core programme created by the senior teacher team, based on 40yrs+ experience of teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Each classroom is equipped with audio/visual facilities and interactive whiteboards to support the classwork taught.

The college has offered Teenage Spanish language courses for many years now and the programmes are ONLY offered in the Summer and Spring holidays. Please see the Summer course details.

  • Lessons may be held in the morning or afternoon each week, and an activity programme is offered each week
  • There is plenty of time for excursions, sun-bathing, exploring, siestas and of course homework
  • Emphasis is placed on oral skills and developing higher levels of confidence
  • Homework will be set each week (but not over the weekend)
  • The evenings and weekends are dedicated to activities but there is also plenty of free time to enjoy and explore the local area

This is the perfect language course for older teenagers looking to improve their Spanish language skills with their peers, have fun, work hard and enjoy the Spanish sunshine.

The Spanish language school provides a first-class study environment whereby students can follow a Spanish course with other teenagers of their own age, who are at a similar level of Spanish ability.

The school operates as a year-round language centre and caters for adult language learners as well as 15/18 year old students.

Location

Malaga is an amazing Spanish city, set on the Mediterranean coast and has something to please everyone.

The city is very dynamic; the seaside promenade and beach area are alive with restaurants, pizzerias and cafes, the city centre offers both historic and modern Spanish cultural gems (the Pompidou Centre, Picasso Museum and Centro de Arte Contemporáneo, or the Cathedral, Atarazanas market or Castillo de Gibralfaro) for students to explore. The college is close to it all yet is set in a quiet residential area up in the hills, perfect for study.
