Learn French in Cannes: Social Life
Many students make their own plans to explore Cannes and the Cote d’Azur. Just off shore from Cannes are the Iles de Lérins, the two islands are covered in pine and eucalyptus one is home to Fort Royal, one time prison of the Man in the Iron Mask and the other to a Monastery from the 11 th century. Discover the impressive cliffs (and depths) of the Grand Canyon du Verdon and sample the perfumeries of Grasse. In addition Nice, Monte Carlo, Saint Tropez and Antibes are within easy reach for weekend day trips.
