Learn French in Guadeloupe: Language Courses

• Timetable: 08.00 to 12 noon hrs

A short term French language course aimed at those who need to build on current skills or who want to kick start their French language learning from scratch with a French course in Guadeloupe. Classes are generally timetabled in the mornings (Monday to Friday) but during November, December, January and February, courses may also be held in the afternoon.

Each student has an interview and a written test to determine the group they will be placed in. Depending on the duration of the course booked, students will have the possibility to move through the various language levels available. Each course level aims to provide students with the most effective communication skills possible: oral and written comprehension and oral expression, and solid grammar knowledge. Different linguistic and cultural skills are explored through a variety of media; historic documents, documents created by the teacher, role play, creative and playful activities, student-centric tasks (such as gathering information at the market or on the town, creating merchant profiles or surveys.). This half day programme is also a wonderful language holiday option for adults, who like the idea of a French study location with a difference!

Please note: Classes will be reduced if there are only a few students at a specific class level.

Standard Course: If there are only 3 or 4 students per Standard Course class level, teacher contact lessons will be reduced from 4 to 3 per day. If there are only 1 or 2 students per class level, teacher contact lessons will be reduced from 4 to 2 lessons per day.

• Timetable: 08.00 to 12 noon + 12.30 hrs to 14.30 hrs

This programme is an extension of the Standard course and additional private lessons per day. It is recommended for those wish to enhance their oral or written skills on a short term programme.

Please note: Classes will be reduced if there are only a few students at a specific class level.

Combined Course:  If there are only 3 or 4 students per Standard Course class level, teacher contact lessons will be reduced from 4 to 3 per day. If there are only 1 or 2 students per class level, teacher contact lessons will be reduced from 4 to 2 lessons per day. Private tuition classes will take place, as booked.
