– You are not permitted to travel due to official travel restrictions from your home country
– You are not permitted to travel due to entry restrictions into Italy
– You have official medical proof of a positive COVID-19 test

– a new lockdown is ordered by the Italian government affecting students on site

Covid Cancellation Policy 2021

Prior to arrival:
If cancelling for covid related reasons, the students will receive a partial refund, if the School receives the request for cancellation at least 16 days before the beginning of the course: cancellations received later (i.e. from the 15th day before the beginning of the course on) will be considered to be “no show”, and the School will therefore be entitled to withhold, as a penalty, the whole amount paid. Alternatively online courses can be offered to the student or a voucher for a future course (to be taken within 24 months of the course cancellation).

Once in Italy/Tuition:
If you need to cut the trip short for covid related reasons, you can either take online classes or accept a voucher for future study for up to 2 years (for full weeks, not partial weeks).

Covid Cancellation Policy 2021

Prior to arrival:
If cancelling for covid related reasons, the students can cancel up to 4 days in advance of arrival and get a 100% refund on tuition and accommodation fees. If the student wishes they can be issued with a voucher for a future course or transfer to online classes.

Once in Italy/Tuition:
If you need to cut the trip short for covid related reasons, you can either transfer to online classes, accept a voucher for future study, or cancel the remaining programme and get a refund for the balance of the tuition (for full weeks, not partial weeks).

Once in Italy/Accommodation:
If you need to cut the trip short for covid related reasons the school will issue a voucher against a future programme or arrange a refund (for full, not partial weeks).

2021 Course Start Dates

Currently the Italian authorities are allowing teaching at the schools, so face to face Italian classes are running as usual, with all the necessary precautions and safety measures required.

Florence & Rome: Teaching from 18th January 2021 onwards
Milan: Teaching from 1st February 2021 onwards

Should the authorities decide to change their plans students will be notified immediately on this page and via the CESA newsletter.
