There are a wide range of attractions in the city ensures Rouen is a stimulating and provocative backdrop for your experience of France and French life. Whether you love history, old world mediaeval architecture, the wonderful regional food or are looking for a relaxed French city vibe, Rouen will meet your needs.
School Clubs
There are excellent free after class activities are a great way to meet other students and continue speaking French. These clubs take place every day from 16h15 to 17h15.
Monday: Club Journal/Focusing on written skills, practising your grammar using games
Tuesday: Club Théâtre/oral expression and pronunciation through drama
Wednesday: Discu’Thé & Café/oral production (discussion in small groups)
Thursday: Club Ciné/ relax and enjoy a French movie, oral comprehension and expression (debate about the movie)
Friday: SOS FLE (tutoring)/to work on your specific French needs
Excursions and Activities:
The French school staff have a local partner organiser who arranges a number of weekly excursions and activities. A great way to meet mix with other students in Rouen. Day trips include visits to Mont St Michel, Honfleur, Deauville, Etretat, Giverny and weekend trips are offered to les châteaux de la Loire, Strasbourg, Brussels & Amsterdam. Activities offered also include nightclub events with students from all over the world, sports activities, picnics, games etc.
