Offered on a room only, breakfast only or half-board (breakfast and evening meal) basis. Students can choose from single or shared rooms. You share the bathroom and the kitchen with your host family. Allow approx. 20/35+ mins each way for the daily commute. Accommodation in host families is definitely the best way to practise your German and get to know Austria and its people outside of the classroom. Host families can be couples without children, parents with schoolchildren or older people whose grown-up children have already left home.

• Meals: There is a kitchen where you can use the hotplates and refrigerator free of charge – students need to bring their own crockery and utensils if they wish to self cater. You can also pay in advance for breakfast or half-board.
• Facilities: Single or Twin rooms. Most rooms include a shower, toilet and telephone.

We recommend students fly to Vienna airport. You can then take a taxi or public transport to your accommodation. Alternatively we can arrange for you to be collected from the airport, at extra cost.
