Learn Italian in Viareggio: Accommodation
In Viareggio students can choose to stay with local Italian hosts, in small local hotels or shared apartments.
NB: As Viareggio is a seaside resort, the accommodation costs will vary depending on the time of the year.
There are three accommodation seasons – low, medium and high (the most expensive period being early July through to early September).
Italian Hosts/Private households
- Offered to 16 yrs + students
- Generally around 20 minutes commute to school
- Single rooms
- Shared rooms (if booking with a friend)
- Breakfast only or half-board
You can choose to stay with local Italian hosts, who live in apartments in Viareggio. The school can arrange either single or shared rooms (shared rooms are only on offer if travelling as a couple or with a friend) on a Bed and breakfast basis or breakfast and evening meal arrangement. Staying with hosts enables you to practise speaking Italian with local people outside of class. As a rule hosts are around 20 minutes commute from the school.
Shared apartments
- Offered to 18 yrs + students only
- Minimum let: 2 weeks
- Single rooms
- Shared rooms (if booking with a friend)
- Self-catering only
- Commute of 10 to 25 minutes to the language school
The apartments consist of a communal kitchen and bathroom and a single or shared (for friends only) bedroom each. Apartments are either shared with local Italian people or other language students. If you have a preference please let CESA know when enrolling. We will do our best to meet your requirements.
Hotels
- Offered to 18 yrs + students only
The college works with a small local Hotel, that offers B&B (or half-board for a supplement) and either shared bathrooms or at extra cost a private bathroom. Please let us know your preferences when booking.
Travel
Arrive: Sunday PM
Depart: Saturday PM
We recommend students fly to Pisa airport and then take the train or a taxi to Viareggio.
You are welcome to book a transfer service at an additional cost from Pisa airport.
