Classes cover Spanish language, culture and civilisation for adults of all nationalities across all language levels, using the communicative method, with emphasis laid on the performance of tasks that enable real communication processes to be practised and the respective language skills – speaking, reading, writing and listening- to be put in to practise. A short term Spanish language course aimed at those students who need to build on current skills (across all language levels) or who want to learn Spanish as a beginner with an immersion course in Nerja. A wonderful short term option for adults and students alike. Very popular courses year round, but particularly so in the warmer months of the year.

Lessons will either take place in a morning or (sometimes also in the afternoon, generally applies to June/September). Timetable arrangements are only finalised once in Spain, as it depends on student numbers and language levels.

A short term Spanish language course aimed at those who wish to build on current skills, in a small college environment on a more intensive, time efficient programme. Ideal for those looking for faster language acquisition and who are willing to work hard both in and out of class! While both course content and goals coincide with those of the Intensive Course, the additional hours are devoted to faster Spanish language acquisition, in line with pupils’ specific needs.

This is a specific Spanish language course aimed at those who wish to prepare for the Spanish Language DELE exams in Nerja, Spain. Courses are offered throughout the year, however the exams are held on set dates May/August/November each year, so most students book classes in the build up to the exam dates, which can be sat in Malaga, and registered through the Spanish language college.

The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official qualifications certifying the degree of competence and mastery of Spanish, granted by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. The DELE examination provides for all the different variants of the Spanish language. They are all considered as valid to obtain the diploma. The DELE examinations have been designed following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe, which ensures a practical way of establishing a standard, international and objective measurement of the level that should be reached at each teaching stage, and in evaluating results.

The University of Salamanca collaborates with Instituto Cervantes in designing exam papers and in grading the tests leading to the Diplomas in Spanish. The levels of the Diplomas in Spanish are integrated into the CEFR: A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2. The “Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language” were created within the framework of the series of actions aimed at disseminating the Spanish language and raising the profile of Spanish culture abroad.

A fabulous opportunity to learn Spanish in Nerja, and shake out those mental stresses with a fun dance course, suitable for beginner to intermediate dance levels and all ages. Dance classes take place in a nearby dedicated Dance School “Escuela de Baile” (just 10 minutes walk from the Spanish language school).

Combine your Spanish language studies in Nerja with afternoons spent learning the wonderful art of Flamenco dance. You have to try it – a dramatic and moody dance long associated with Andalusia. Flamenco lessons are taken at “Escuela de Baile”, which is only 10 minutes walking from the School. When done well it’s spectacular and if you’re not the best dance in the world, at least you will better appreciate the skills of the dance, next time you see a Flamenco show!

An intensive Spanish language course, ideal for those who wish to make maximum language progress over one or more weeks. Aimed at adults and students with specific language needs but little time available. Ideal for Easter revision courses for A’level students. The Spanish language school in Nerja offers you peaceful surroundings and an easy pace to life, so you can concentrate fully on your language studies. This is a custom-made course catering to students’ individual interests. It is a specialised intensive course for pupils with very specific needs in general or professional Spanish, such as business, corporate affairs, tourism, banking, medicine, etc., or for specific examinations, such as the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera – D.E.L.E), university, school-leaving and others.
